Specialist doctor in family medicine
As a specialist in general medicine with eight years of experience, I have broad expertise in preventive healthcare and treatment of chronic diseases. My philosophy is to focus on a holistic approach to weight loss and health, as it's more than just diet and exercise. I work with patients to improve their metabolic control, thereby preventing diseases such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood lipids, and cardiovascular diseases.
My extensive experience also includes focus on stress management, sleep, and behavioral changes to achieve lasting results. I strive to make the entire process as personal and simple as possible, also offering health coaching as a vital part of the program.
When you begin our medical treatment program, your first step is a digital consultation with a physician. During this meeting, we review your medical history, your individual circumstances, and your personal goals. If needed, you will be referred for blood tests to ensure that all treatment decisions are based on safe and accurate medical information. Based on your results and needs, you receive a personalized treatment plan with clear instructions to support a safe and structured dose escalation. Throughout the entire process, we remain available for questions, guidance, and ongoing support. Our goal is to guide you step by step until you reach a healthy and sustainable weight. Once your goal is achieved, we help you taper off the treatment gradually and safely. Lifestyle changes are essential for long-term success. If you would like additional support, we recommend our lifestyle program, where you receive professional guidance from an experienced health coach.
Health Coach and Researcher
Marcus Flink is a licensed physiotherapist with a strong interest in longevity (living well, for a long time). As a physiotherapist, Marcus has worked with many different patient groups as well as with the Swedish national surf team. As a researcher, Marcus co-authored a nationwide study comparing digital group training with traditional group training for heart attack patients. The results show that digital groups are fully feasible, safe, and provide similar experiences and effects as traditional group training.
The problem is that these digital group training sessions should have been available in heart patients' lives many years earlier — then perhaps the heart attack could have been avoided. Combined with knowledge of digital groups and Marcus's experience in health coaching, health-promoting interventions can now be implemented as soon as risk factors for future heart attacks are present. This means that people with high blood pressure, obesity, and physical inactivity should, and now can, receive the help that health coaching through digital groups offers.
When you choose to participate in health coaching with Marcus, you will be part of digital group sessions every two weeks for 6 months. Each session is structured to cover bio-, psycho-, and social factors that affect your weight and health. Individual goals will be designed and followed up on. To facilitate goal achievement, a community will be created regardless of where you are geographically. You will be given opportunities to share your journey and you will notice that you are not alone. Each group session ends with some form of movement and believe it or not, it will be fun! No requirement to be visible on camera, but it can help promote group dynamics.
Our treatment approach is based on Behaviour Change Techniques (BCT), a structured and research-based model for behaviour change. Through goal-focused work, continuous follow-up, and group support, we create the conditions for lasting lifestyle changes and sustainable weight loss.

I have 14 years of experience working as a coach, I am trained in this incredible method called Rapid Transformational Therapy® and I am a hypnotherapist. I have selected this method to create change within people because it is quite simply the best method I have come across in all my practice.
